Traditional Indian Wear For Kids

Saree - the traditional Indian wear for women has found recognition around the world. A salwar suit is also quite popular as traditional Indian wear for men, though not as popular as a saree. Men Indian clothing, however, have not been as popular. Although the sherwani has gained some popularity, but apart from that the traditional wear for Indian men, remain practically unknown to the world. Now a days kids clothing is also popular. Lets have a look at some of the important Indian wear for kids.
Shwerwani
Sherwanis are quite popular as wedding wear among Indian kids. The fashion wedding sherwanis are quite popular in the rest of the world too. They are usually in rich colors and texts with traditional Indian embroider work and with an added fashion accessory, the kids stole.
Dhoti
Dhoti is not a commonly wore traditional wear for Indian kids, but its one of the important Indian wears. Dhoti is worn by kids during the festive occasions and wedding. Dhoti is an important wear for weddings as dhotis are worn by the kids during religious ceremonies and rituals. Usually white, ocher, yellow and saffron colors of dhotis are preferred. Indian priests wear the dhoti the most.
Kurta Pyjama
Kurta pyjama is the basic style of traditional Indian wear of kids. The sherwanis have been inspired from the kurta pyjama for kids. Designers have modified and manipulated the basic kurta pyjama design to make different kinds of sherwanis. With a little variation in the kurta or the pyjama a simple Indian attire can be worn in different ways. Some common styles are:
